Hill House Guests

At Lodi Hill House, every stay is an opportunity to pursue your passions. Guests come here to play the piano, film a movie, explore local wineries, unwind with painting and wildlife photography or simply relax and enjoy their stay.

Below we will share some of the many unique and interesting people that have stayed with us and others that simply wanted to use the house for a backdrop. Our piano is tuned once a year for our guests to enjoy.

After releasing an evil witch from its cursed tape, a landlord and his two new renters must confront their fears and skepticism to defeat this entity.

In October Matt contacted Lodi Hill House and asked if they could use the house for a movie they were filming. We were a bit hesitant because we have had people confuse our house with the house in the book "The Haunting of Hill House" and we have had people who were afraid to rent a room from us due to that mistaken identity.

However we accepted and they began filming on Halloween of 2023. It was pretty cool seeing all the actors, lights and cameras. We are eagerly waiting to see the movie.

Musical Guests: The Musical Brothers

These brothers are doing their cover of "Don't Let The Old Man In" by Toby Keith who, tragically, died of stomach cancer February 5th 2024 hours before he was elected to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2024.

We truly enjoy and encourage our guests to play our piano. We like to see guests enjoy the house and their stay especially families and groups of friends.

Maurice Hill would enjoy it as well. He would have friends over to sing and play piano. When it was over he would create an album for them to take home. We're sure he would enjoy the fact that half a century later people still celebrate in his house with friends, family, singing and playing music.
